Elizabeth Lowrey to Speak, Receive Honorary Degree at MassArt 2019 Commencement

Elkus Manfredi Architects principal will be recognized for contributions to architecture and design at MassArt Commencement ceremony on May 24, 2019

Today, Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) announced that Elizabeth Lowrey , principal and director of interior architecture at Elkus Manfredi Architects will offer remarks to graduates and accept an honorary degree at the 2019 MassArt Commencement . Recently called a “designer of the future” by Boston Magazine, Lowrey is being honored by MassArt for her contributions to the architecture and design industry.

Lowrey is Principal and Director of Interior Architecture at Elkus Manfredi Architects, where she has been responsible for the Boston-based firm’s interior architecture studio since its founding in 1988, and a part of the firm’s leadership since 2002. Her projects have included Walt Disney Imagineering, Citizens Bank, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Publicis Groupe, New Balance, and Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide.

MassArt’s 2019 Commencement will take place on Friday, May 24, at 1 pm, at the Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion in Boston. The commencement exercises will be live-streamed at massart.edu/livestream .
