The 400 sq.ft. Office comprises of 3 working zones, a pantry and a toilet.
The overall office design embraces wellness concepts and to create a more positive employee experience.
The entrance lobby walls and ceiling is finished with a grey marmorino texture by Asian Paints and lit by beautiful pendant lights, the floor is laid with a grey Alaska marble from Asia Pacific Marbles, Mumbai. The lobby leads to the pantry door which has been finished in the same texture, and merges along with the walls.
First sitting zone being the junior employee workstation accommodates seven people. The finishes throughout the office are calming neutral colors: soft warm-toned grays, and whites.
Coming to the next zone, it is separated by a clear glass partition from the junior staff area. This area is also connected to the director’s cabin, again separated by a fluted glass partition framed with wood finished in lacquer paint.
Since the area was less, we wanted abundant natural light around, with a sense of openness, hence the extensive use of glass partitions is done.
Directors’ cabin has a large window, opening to the mesmerizing view of the sea link and the Mumbai skyline. The desk and the shelving unit behind it is finished in grey lacquer, inlayed with brass strips. The desk is finished with a Statuario stone top. Furnishings such as the leather upholstered sofas and two salmon pink suede fabric visitor chairs contrast with the medium overtones of the desk, shelving unit and flooring.
The opposite wall having an 100 year old architectural print enclosed with wainscotting around. These mouldings on the wall paneling are painted in wall color and the moulding on the desk is in brass which also look sleek, clean and modern. The director’s cabin also has an advantage of natural sunlight by utilizing wall to wall windows. The designs are very minimal yet aesthetically very pleasing. All furniture was customized on site to complete the craft.
The toilet has the same Alaska grey marble finish till 4 feet height above which the walls are finished with rustic gold D Décor wallpaper. The opposite wall is finished with a mirror with brass framewhich doubles the actual space visually.
Our studio also completed furniture, lighting and décor for this project.
